Reflections

After months of gathering my thoughts and ideas, I decided it was time to start bringing what I envisioned into reality. It is almost overwhelming looking at the sea of orange beads on my table. I can imagine thousands of possibilities to make this “garden of hope” come to life, but before I begin beading the individual flowers, I wanted to start with a centrepiece to commemorate the children in Kamloops who brought the truth to light… The petals on the flowers are shaped like hearts as a reminder that this is a project infused with love in every stitch.
