Engaging with future leaders

I had the privilege of being asked to speak at the Voices That Empower student council retreat today at a school in Peterborough. The students who participated were engaged and although most had never even picked up a needle, they all put in an effort to create a flower for the mural. I am varying the materials provided at each workshop so that I can keep track of where they came from when they are returned in the mail. I am truly grateful to have been asked to participate in this event. Having the opportunity to engage with youth makes this project so much more meaningful!
